The Design Thinking Summit brings Design Thinking to Graz and opens a new creative space for the development of new products and services.

Designmonat Graz concentrates the buzz of the creative industries within one month, makes it visible and emphasizes the economic relevance of creative processes. It offers a platform for innovative projects, thus highlighting the importance of design.

A line-up of contemporary top design: the biggest design exhibition in the field of product and interior design, collected under the title ‘Walk the Line’, almost 50 top-class works from all over Europe as well as Japan and the US, for one month at designHalle Graz.

The format Design in the City is also in this year a fixed program point in the Design Month Graz. Participating stores and designers are part of an annual event of international concern - Design is visible.

Tape Over is a Tape art collective from Berlin that will create an innovative universal artwork made of tape, graffiti, painting and light and in the form of a wave for Designmonat Graz.

Croatia offers a young and energetic design scene. An exhibition at designHalle presents award-winning Croatian design from all disciplines as well as a documentary exhibition about work of the Croatian design legend Bogdan Budimirov.

The manifold exhibition ‘Nothing stops Detroit’ was planned by three students of the FH master degree program Exhibition Design, namely Patricia Wess, Janine Hugsam and Eva Stern.

The 28th Montréal International Design Show will unfold at Place Bonaventure. Unmistakable cultural event, in design and creativity, the DESIGN SHOW will give you a look into the design trends that will shape the homes, offices, businesses and institutions of tomorrow.

Designers stage dialogues. Whether it be the dialogue between app and user, between website and visitor, between a car and its driver, or between a brand and its customers. Designers use technical and analytical tools to make communication as easy and emotional as possible.

On occasion of FH Joanneum’s Lecture Days, this year for the first time there will be the entire department Media and Design, including Information Design, Exhibition Design & Communication, Media, Sound and Interaction Design also Industrial Design, Journalism & Public Relation and Content strategy, will be integrated.
