Design Core Detroit invites design students from UNESCO Cities of Design and beyond to submit projects for the 2026 Global Mobility Showcase, taking place in September 2026 during Detroit Month of Design. Selected works will be exhibited at Eastern Market After Dark, one of the festival’s largest events, attracting more than 30,000 visitors.
The call is open to undergraduate and graduate students working on mobility-related topics, including transportation design, assistive mobility devices, UX for mobility, and innovative urban mobility solutions. Submissions should include one main concept image, three supporting visuals, and a short project description.
Submission deadline: 1 August 2026.
