As the core event of World Design Cities Conference 2026, the UNESCO Creative Cities Design Forum, under the theme “When AI Meets Design: Challenge and Practice”, was successfully held in Shanghai on September 28th.
Seventeen speakers from 30 cities in 11 countries participated in the forum, engaging in exchange and cooperation. From the fields of the design, education, and enterprise, they explored the application of innovative AI + Design practices in real-world scenarios and shared practical cases and experiences. The forum promoted cross-sector collaboration among designers, educators and entrepreneurs, while advocating sustainable AI strategies for cultural and creative sectors.
