Organised by the DesignSingapore Council, the Singapore Design Biennale builds on the legacy of Singapore Design Week with an expanded international format and greater ambition, scale, and collaboration.
The Open Call welcomes proposals from:
- Independent designers (local and international)
- Cities of Design, design organisations, and creative communities
- Design-led brands, corporates, and institutions
This edition invites participants to explore 1.35°N — Singapore’s geographical latitude — as a point of departure for experimentation, collaboration and critical inquiry into how we live, create, and connect in the future.
An additional reason to participate: Singapore will host the next UNESCO Creative Cities of Design subnetwork meeting during the Biennale, offering an opportunity to experience the projects in person and connect with the global design community.
