Terra Incognita is an anthology initiated by Aulia Akbar and co-published by Thinking*Room. It contains a compilation of interviews that describe “dark” areas rarely discussed when discussing everyday design, especially in his town, Bandung, Indonesia. The author tries to reflect on the design profession during the COVID-19 pandemic by asking and investigating about the relationship between design and solutions, ethics, education, and future problems by conducting sequential interviews with several friends in Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan.
